You Think You Can Dance, a dinner, live and silent auction and ice
show was held on October 19, 2007. The evening was sold out and all

evening, provided a wonderful meal and service was excellent.Following
dinner and before desert, everyone in attendance moved to the rink to
enjoy the Ice Show, So You Think You Can Skate, which was the
highlight of the evening and hosted by Master of Ceremonies, Emanuel
Sandhu. Before celebrity judges, Rosemary Marks, Bernard Ford, Bruce
Hogle and Bridget Ryan, Erin Isfeld and Matt Williams performed a
Disco routine; Anisette Gent and David Hunter performed a Waltz and

Funds Raised
The Ice Dreams sold
out evening was a great success. In excess of $20,000.00 was raised
which will be used to assist KidSport Edmonton to ensure that all
children are able to participate in sport and recreation regardless of
their financial resources; to enable Skate Canada: Alberta –
NWT/Nunavut to continue to upgrade and offer programming for everyone
who wishes to participate; and to enable the National Ice Theatre of
Canada to provide artistic programming to our youth. The evening also
provided another opportunity to introduce Ice Dreams partners, Skate
Canada: Alberta – NWT/Nunavut, KidSport Edmonton and the National Ice
Theatre of Canada to the corporate, business and government
communities. |
