25 & 50 Year Club Award Award Details

Marilyn Chidlow Club Volunteer Award

The award is intended to recognize a volunteer from within the club who is "deserving" - in the opinion of the club.  It will be different from club to club and year to year.  It could be an individual who went above and beyond on some task, someone who has long, dedicated service, someone who tied skates at CanSkate all season, etc.  That individual should have been involved with the club for more than two years and should, most importantly, be considered a role model for other volunteers.  One award per club per year may be awarded.

Wayne Fell Memorial Evaluator/Judges Award

This award was developed on the request of the family of Wayne Fell in order to recognize the efforts of our Evaluator/Judges who work tirelessly at the grassroots level traveling to local test days and competitions and who work diligently to ensure that club skating programs and our STARSkate skating family members are successful.  These unsung heroes are so deserving of recognition but often are the first to brush off any such accolades.
