Denise joined the Section office in March 2011 and comes from an extensive background in recreation and sport. With her Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Sports Administration, her background includes working for the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association and the Canadian Olympic Committee. Denise leads the following areas:
- Marketing and sponsorship
- Partnership development
- Public relations
- Development of policies and procedures for the Section
- Finance, operations and administration
- Management of the Section office
Denise provides assistance to the following committees: Executive Committee, Bylaw Committee, Finance Committee and the Human Resource Committee.

Email Kelly |

Kelly is a graduate of Mount Royal University with a diploma in Recreation and Sport Administration. Kelly was a competitive ice dancer at the national level and she joined the Section office in 2003. She provides assistance to clubs in the following areas:
- Membership and registration support
- Club policies and procedures
- Reviews club by-laws
- Assists with dispute resolution for clubs and members
- Fundraising and club development clinics
- Program delivery standards
- Carnival sanctions
- Insurance and SOCAN
- Administers the Skate Canada Achievement Awards and Section Awards
- Reviews new club and skating school applications
- Updates the club directory to make it accessible to club presidents and test chairs
Kelly provides support to the following committees: Awards Committee, Ethics Review Committee, Membership Committee and the Regions Committee.

Email Holly |

Holly has been involved in the sport of figure skating her entire life, as a skater, coach, Section Board member and now as Manager, Athlete Development. Her knowledge of the sport provides assistance to skaters and coaches and is the main support role for athletes in our Section.
- Athlete development and support
- Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD)
- Talent identification
- Oversees the development and organization of Section Teams: Junior Development, Challenge and Nationals
- Monitoring/Assessments of athletes
- Coordinates athlete clinics and seminars, such as the STARSkate clinics and the Annual Brian Pockar Male Seminar
- Provides assistance to clubs in regards to developing clinics for skaters in the club or region, such as recommending a clinic facilitator
- Recommends quest skaters for carnivals
- Provides assistance with technical questions
- Coordinates funding applications for athletes
Holly provides support to the following committees: Athlete Development Committee and the Parent Resource Committee.

|
Monique has been contracted on a part-time basis to fill the temporary vacancy left as Lisa Bonderove enjoys her maternity leave. As a Certified Bookkeeper, her expertise in finance provides assistance to the office and the Section in the following areas:
- Coordination of accounts receivable/payable
- Payroll
- Budget monitoring and reporting
- Bookkeeping and auditing
- Casino reporting

Allyson graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Leisure. She joined the Section office in 2009 and is a resource for coaches in our Section. She also supports the implementation of competitions at the club, region and Section level.
Coach Support:
- NCCP Course Administrator for CanPower, CanSkate, ISPC, Levels 3-5; including the organization of course and registration processing and facilitating the marking of workbooks
- Oversees and coordinates Special Permission Requests for Coaches
- Coach communications and support
- Oversees the Coach Hiring Guide
- Provides assistance and clarification to clubs in regards to coaching certification requirements for each program
Competition Support:
- Coordinates the registration of coaches and skaters for Sectionals, Challenge and Nationals
- Processes competition bids and competition sanctions
- Distributes information to clubs regarding competitions
- Processes competition equipment requests
- Processes medal order requests
Allyson provides support to the following committees: Coaching Committee and Competition Sub-Committee.

Email Cassandra |

Cassandra is a graduate of Brock University with her Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Popular Culture, and Graduate Certificate in Events Management. She joined the Section office in May 2011. Her role involves the support of Section officials and the coordination of all communications for the office, including the website and newsletter.
Communications Support:
- Oversees and administers the Section Facebook account
- Section website administrator: posts competition results and announcements, and reviews and collects stories/articles
- Coordinates articles and submissions for “In The Loop” newsletter
- Posts coach wanted ads on the website and in the newsletter
- Assists marketing and social media
- Coordinates the Section ACGM including development of the registration package, processes all registrations for workshops and awards banquet
Officials Support:
- Officials communications including technical updates
- Evaluator and Judges training clinics
- Maintenance of the Evaluator/Judges directory
- Provides ID tags for all officials
Cassandra provides support to the following committees: Officials Coordinating Committee, Data Specialist Sub-Committee, Evaluator/Judges Sub-Committee, Event Technicians Sub-Committee, Technical Panel Sub-Committee, Nominating Committee and Special Events Sub-Committee.
