Certification/Courses


 

To teach Skate Canada programs, coaches must be National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) trained and/or certified and they must also be professional coaching members of Skate Canada.  They must have completed a Skate Canada approved police clearance check and positions of trust check, and hold a valid First Aid Certificate. Please refer to the Flow Chart for steps on how to become a coach and further for more information.

Please Note: Spring/Summer coaching courses will be posted as early as February 2012.

All coaches must be registered as a Skate Canada Coach prior to coaching at any Skate Canada club. Please click here to access the documents required to register as a coach with Skate Canada.
